[Reporter Roishu Jeon Yong-mo] The Busan Regional Tax Office (Director Jang Il-hyeon) celebrated the 57th Taxpayer’s Day (March 3) at the main auditorium on the first floor of the building on March 6.

It was announced that a commemorative event was held by inviting award winners such as model taxpayers and guests such as the president of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Commissioner Jang Il-hyun handed out commendations to the winners, and commendations were given to excellent organizations, public officials of merit, and long-term public officials.

It was delivered by invited guests including the Busan branch president of the Federation of Korean Women Entrepreneurs. Model taxpayer (14 people = 1 Industrial Service Medal, 1 President,

2 Prime Ministers,  4 Ministers, 3 Commissioners of the National Tax Service, 3 Commissioners of Regional Offices),  Beautiful Taxpayers (3 = 2 Ministers, 1 Commissioner of the National Tax Service), 

Taxation cooperator (3 people = 1 Minister, 1 Commissioner of National Tax Service, 1 Commissioner of Regional Office)

Preferential benefits for exemplary taxpayers include tax audit deferral (however, if objective and clear tax evasion is confirmed, tax audit deferral benefits are excluded),

Selection of regular inspection period, tax payment collateral exemption (up to 500 million won), use of business center exclusively for exemplary taxpayers, railroad fare discount,

Preferential trade insurance, preferential airport immigration, free use of public parking lots, preferential financing, etc. Busan National Tax Service Commissioner Jang Il-hyun personally handed out certificates of commendation to each of the 20 winners and said, “Even in the difficult economic situation last year,

“I express my deep respect and gratitude to everyone who faithfully paid taxes and practiced beautiful sharing.”
